NCSAA Day of Giving
Saturday, September 28, 2013
The NCSAA Day of Giving is an annual event held to support the mission and work of the National Christian School Athletic Association, as well as to raise funds in support of another significant special need. We invite you to participate in the 2013 Day of Giving, which is comprised of the following two events (both held on Saturday, September 28):
NCSAA 5k Run / Walk (and 1-Mile Walk)
Brady's Run Park (Beaver Falls, PA)
9:00 AM
The inaugural NCSAA 5k Run / Walk will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 -- at Brady's Run Park in Beaver Falls, PA. The event will include a 5k Run / Walk, as well as a 1-Mile Walk (for those walkers who would prefer to not walk the entire 5k). The run and walk will both begin at 9:00 AM.
All proceeds will benefit the non-profit mission and work of the National Christian School Athletic Association.
Individuals can register either as standard participants (runner or walkers who pay a registration fee) or as fundraising participants (runners or walkers who find sponsors willing to donate to NCSAA, in lieu of paying a registration fee). We'd greatly appreciate if you'd be willing to register as a fundraising participant to help us reach our $5,000 fundraising goal for this event.
All participants that register by August 31 will receive a t-shirt and a "goodie bag" at on-site registration...and the final registration deadline is September 22. Post-race food and drinks will also be provided to all participants.
NCSAA Day of Giving Dinner Auction - to benefit the McMahan Family
Concord United Methodist Church (Beaver Falls, PA)
6:00 PM
You are invited to attend the 2013 NCSAA Day of Giving Dinner Auction. 100% of the proceeds of this year's event will benefit the McMahan family. Nellie (and her four children) lost their husband and father (Blake) this year, and one of the major needs of the family is the cost of their tuition to Beaver County Christian School. All of the proceeds of the auction will be donated toward an education fund for the McMahan children. We desire to support Nellie in her choice to continue to provide a Christian education for her children, and we're asking for your help in making this dinner auction a success!
