NCSAA Day of Giving Dinner Auction
Saturday, September 28, 2013
Concord United Methodist Church
285 Concord Church Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010
Dinner begins at 6:00 PM (Doors open at 5:15)
You are invited to attend the 2013 NCSAA Day of Giving Dinner Auction. 100% of the proceeds of this year's event will benefit the McMahan family. Nellie (and her four children) lost their husband and father (Blake) this year, and one of the major needs of the family is the cost of their tuition to Beaver County Christian School. All of the proceeds of the auction will be donated toward an education fund for the McMahan children. We desire to support Nellie in her choice to continue to provide a Christian education for her children, and we're asking for your help in making this dinner auction a success!
Please CLICK HERE (and then click the green "Register" button on the next page) to register to attend the event. THERE IS NO COST TO ATTEND.
If you cannot attend, but would like to give money in support of the McMahan Family, please CLICK HERE.
Please register as early as possible, so that we'll have a good idea of how many people will be attending (for set-up purposes). And a note to all attendees...This event is an ADULTS-ONLY evening, so plan to come without the kids.
The dinner auction will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 -- at Concord United Methodist Church (285 Concord Church Road, Beaver Falls, PA). The dinner will begin at 6:00 PM; during the dinner, there will be a brief presentation about the mission and work of NCSAA, followed by the auction.
Please plan to arrive early, in time to place your dinner item on the buffet line, give your auction item(s) to us, receive instructions about the auction, and browse the auction items.
What should you bring with you?
Please bring your choice of main dish, side dish, or dessert (enough to share) for the dinner. This will be a casual buffet-style dinner. NCSAA will provide the drinks and place settings.
Please also bring a new or lightly-used item for auction. NCSAA will be providing some items for auction, but the majority of the items that will be auctioned will be provided by all of you who attend. These can be items from around your home, things that you make, services that you (or others) can provide, item donations from local businesses, unused gifts that you'd like to re-gift, or anything else you think would be appropriate. Have some fun with this; we will appreciate whatever you are able to bring! If you have ideas of ways to obtain some additional (big-ticket) items for auction, we'd appreciate your efforts. Let us know if we can assist in that!
Please plan to come and bid generously at the auction, if you are able. We are not charging any fee to attend the dinner, in hopes that those who attend will participate enthusiastically in the auction. We hope you'll come, have fun, and that the result will be a great night of fundraising to benefit the McMahan Family!
What is the plan for the evening's program?
The doors will open at 5:15 PM, so feel free to arrive anytime after that -- to place your dinner item on the buffet line, give us your auction item(s), and browse the items that are up for auction.
The buffet dinner will begin at 6:00 PM; during the dinner, there will be a brief presentation about the mission and work of NCSAA, to be followed by the auction.
We hope you can join us on this evening, to learn more about the non-profit work of NCSAA...and to support the McMahan Family. Thanks so much!
