Welcome to NCSAA!

We are thankful that your athletic program has chosen to join as a member school of NCSAA, and we're excited to have you represented as a part of our nationwide community of Christian school athletic programs.  We look forward to serving your program, coaches, athletes, and families!  Please let us know if you have any questions or if there is a specific way in which we can be a help to you at this time.  Your NCSAA membership provides access to numerous resources and benefits, and we're sending along this welcome note to provide details about how to access those.  Please browse the following information to familiarize yourself with the following NCSAA programs and to better understand how to use your membership:

NCSAA TOURNAMENTS:

We host high-qualitTournamentsy Christian school tournaments in the fall (soccer and volleyball), winter (basketball), and spring (track and field meet)...and we'd love to have your teams attend.  Our Soccer and Volleyball Championships are at Athletes in Action Sports Complex (Xenia, OH) and Cedarville University (Cedarville, OH).  Our basketball is held at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (Mount Vernon, OH), and our Track and Field Championships are typically held at either Grove City College (Grove City, PA) or Geneva College (Beaver Falls, PA).  These are some of the best and largest Christian school tournaments in the country, and if you are a paying member school, you'll quality for a significant discount on your entry fees for each of your teams that attends!  CLICK HERE for more details on all of our tournament events!

WELLSPRING OF LIFE INITIATIVE:

As an NCWellspringSAA member, you have full access to the Wellspring of Life Initiative program.  Developed by NCSAA specifically for Christian schools, the Wellspring of Life Initiative is a set of season-long, Biblically-based resources for your coaches to use throughout their seasons -- to impact their teams' way of thinking about sports, challenge their players in a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ, and pursue a truly Christ-centered focus in your school's athletic program.  We know that many coaches want to have a consistent time of devotions with their teams, but organizing that is sometimes challenging -- so we provide this resource for your coaches, to assist them in making this a priority with their teams.  The program is published online, via the NCSAA web site, so your coaches have the ability to access the materials on their phones, making it easier for them to use the program with their teams.  CLICK HERE for more details about the Wellspring program and to access all of the materials.  In addition, the NCSAA chaplain produces weekly videos to complement each week's Wellspring topic; these are accessible via the NCSAA Facebook page.  Please encourage your coaches and players to join the NCSAA Facebook page to gain access to these.

TEAM AND ATHLETE RANKINGS:

RankingsYour teams and athletes are eligible to be included in the Christian school rankings that NCSAA maintains.  The NCSAA Team Rankings include national and regional rankings, as well as rankings of teams in divisions (based on school size).  In addition, we publish Athlete Statistical Rankings for a wide variety of sports.  Both the Team Rankings and Athlete Rankings are published to the attention of college coaches during each season.  We encourage all schools to submit their scores and athlete stats, periodically throughout their seasons, so that we can have schools of all sizes and competitive levels included in our rankings.  These are a fun way for your school community to follow along with your teams' seasons, as well as a great way for your school and top athletes to receive exposure to college coaches.  CLICK HERE for instructions (which you can pass along to your coaches) about how to submit your team and athlete stats each season!

ALL-AMERICAN, SUPER-REGIONAL, AND COACH OF THE YEAR AWARDS:

One exAwardsciting part of your NCSAA membership is that your players are eligible to be considered for the NCSAA All-American and Super-Regional Teams -- which are the only awards of their type specifically for Christian schools...and one way that NCSAA encourages excellence in Christian athletics.  Coaches can nominate their players after each season, and NCSAA conducts extensive research to supplement the nominations that come in -- so that we can select and publish the best sets of national and regional award recipients that we are able.  Pending the number of nominated players each year, we select both Large-School and Small-School All-American Teams (best players in the country), as well as Super-Regional Teams (divided by geographic region) -- as well as National Players of the Year for each sport / division.  ALSO...we select National Coaches of the Year for each sport.  CLICK HERE for details about nominating your deserving players and coaches (as well as to access the lists of past years' recipients)...We'd invite you to participate each season, so that we can recognize and encourage your deserving athletes and coaches!

LOGIN INFORMATION:

LoginSoon after we approved your NCSAA membership, your athletic director (at the e-mail listed as his / her e-mail address on your membership application) should have received an automated e-mail from NCSAA, containing your username and password.  If you did NOT receive that e-mail, please contact us right away, to notify us that you did not receive your login information.  You will need this information to login to your school's member portal (and to access some of the membership benefits).  You will see the "Member School Login" area on the right sidebar of the NCSAA web site.  If you ever forget your password, you can use the "Password Help" feature (directly below the Member School Login area) to retrieve your password.

MEMBER DUES / INVOICE:

In anInvoice effort to make NCSAA membership affordable for all schools, we have made your annual member dues "voluntary" (which means that you can choose whether or not to pay the member dues).  We want every Christian school athletic program to be able to participate in NCSAA and take advantage of the services we offer, without financial concerns being an obstacle to that.  So, yes...they are optional.  You can choose whether to pay the invoice or not.  That said, we hope that most schools will choose to pay the voluntary dues.  We have not made them voluntary because of a lack of need for the support.  They are a very small annual amount (only $50), and schools' payment of the member dues are a large part of what keeps the work of NCSAA going.  We want to continue to serve Christian schools significantly for many years going forward, so we hope that you will choose to help us to continue to do that by paying the member dues each year, if you are able.

If you have not yet received an invoice for your member dues (that will come to your athletic director, by e-mail via PayPal), you will receive that soon.  You can also pay your dues online.  We appreciate your consideration of whether your school is able to pay the voluntary annual dues.  Thanks so much!

COACHES INFORMATION:

In oCoachesrder to provide a login account for each of your coaches (so that each of them can login to your school's member portal to submit scores and stats, etc), we will either need you to login and add your coaches to your member portal -- or you can simply submit THIS FORM -- and we can do it for you.  If you can do that in the very near future, that will help us to make your membership more useful to your coaches.  (We don't publish your coaches' information online, provide them to anyone else, or use them to send unnecessary e-mails to your coaches.  We only use this information to set up your coaches' accounts, as well as to send very infrequent reminders to your coaches -- such as when it's time for them to nominate their players for post-season awards, etc.)

NCSAA NEWSLETTER:

NewsletterOne of the ways in which we'll keep your school informed about the work of NCSAA and the opportunities that we provide to your program is via Passion in Play, the quarterly NCSAA newsletter.  Your athletic director will receive that newsletter via e-mail, on a quarterly basis.  Please watch for that, and we invite you to take the time to read it (and even share it with your coaches or others) in order to stay informed about what NCSAA is doing (and how you can be a part of it)!

We love to publish news from our member schools in the newsletter.  If you have athlete accomplishments, team news, articles written by your coaches, or other news from your school that might be fun to share with other member schools, please contact us to share that information.  We'd love to consider including it!

NCSAA FACEBOOK PAGE:

One additionalFacebook step you should take is to join the NCSAA Facebook page, as well as encourage your coaches (and also your athletes and school community) to do so.  A lot of helpful NCSAA news (announcement of All-American, Super-Regional, and and Player and Coach of the Year Awards, as well as much more) is published on our Facebook page...and "liking" the NCSAA Facebook page will allow your coaches and athletes to have access to the weekly Wellspring of Life Initiative videos, when they are published.  In addition, we frequently publish encouraging articles, share prayer requests, and give access to other helpful resources via the page...and we hope that you'll take the time to join and connect your school to this valuable online community.

-----

Thanks so much for choosing to join as an NCSAA member school.  We greatly value your partnership and the opportunity to serve your teams, athletes, families, and school community!  Please let us know if there is anything that we can do for you at this time, and keep up the great work where you are!
