Community Programs

NCSAA partners with Christian schools to share the love of Christ with youth and communities.  Our two major outreach programs are described below:

NCSAA Hearts and Minds Project

Skybacher MinistriesWe believe that "the Word of God is living and active" and that it "judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).  Thus, NCSAA pursues community ministry programs that provide opportunity to share the truth of God's Word, in the midst of relationship-building and service.  The ultimate goal of this community-building is to meet the deepest need of every person - knowing Jesus Christ, and growing daily in a relationship with Him.

The Hearts and Minds Project is a joint effort of Christian schools nationwide, who have committed to impact their local communities with the love of Christ.  These schools have committed to use their resources (including people, time, facilities, equipment, and finances) to start and maintain local community ministry programs.

Using the outreach model of Skybacher Ministries (our major community ministry partner), NCSAA offers start-up resources and advisory services to any Christian school that desires to use its athletic program and/or other resources to establish a lasting ministry in its own local community.

If you're interested in participating in the Hearts and Minds Project, please contact NCSAA at 724-846-2764 or heartsandminds@ncsaa.org -- to that we can provide information about how you can get started!

Missions Opportunities

Score InternationalNCSAA also partners with various missions organizations to provide missions opportunities for athletes (or any students who desire to participate in a missions experience).  Our major missions partner, Score International, operates various domestic and international missions opportunities -- and seeks athletes to participate on various trips.

Our desire is to provide an appropriate missions opportunity for any young person who expresses an interest in the missions field, in order for him/her to see what missions work is like, and to learn more about whether God might be calling him/her to the missions field.

If you're interested in more information about participating missions organizations and the opportunities that are available, CLICK HERE -- or contact NCSAA at 724-846-2764 or missions@ncsaa.org with questions.  We look forward to hearing from you!
